A Ten Thousand Villages Sale sponsored by the Mercy Centre for Ecology & Justice and Development and Peace will be held at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road on Thursday, Nov. 23 from 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm; on Friday, Nov. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free. This Sale features beautifully handcrafted home gift items helps poor people in more than 30 developing countries in Africa, Asia and South America to earn a just wage and thus supply the basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter and education for their families.
