Join NLEN’s Free Directory of Environmental Organizations

There is strength in numbers. NLEN wants to be a conduit and a resource hub for this province’s environmental advocates. To do that, we need environmental organizations on board, the bigger our numbers that stronger our voice and more resources we can offer.

This quick survey linked below will populated our free and public directory with information about your organizations and be publicly available – this service is completely free! Organizations who have already verified their data are listed below in case if you’re unsure if your organization has already joined the directory for 2016.

In order to participate, you may either:

1. Click on this link

or
2. Copy-paste the entire following link between quote marks (NOT including the quote marks) in a web browser
http://survey.sogosurvey.com/k/SsWPQUSsWsPsPsP

This survey will be made available as directory of all environmental organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador. Please forward this to anyone you think is appropriate! Forwarding this survey to small or rural organizations that we otherwise might miss is particularly important and we thank you!

The Newfoundland and Labrador Environment Network (NLEN) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose purpose is to carry out environmental education on issues such as sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, and climate change. Froglets: The Fluvarium’s Parent and Tot Program

The Fluvarium’s Parents and Tot Program

This summer program will take place every Monday starting July 18th  and run until August 29th from 9:45am-10:30

Children ages 1-6 and their parents are invited to join us at The Fluvarium for our Froglets program. We will walk and explore near Long Pond and Nagle’s Brook Hill, share stories, songs and watch for critters who call this their home.

This is a drop-in only program with a limit of 10 families per session so come early to ensure you get a spot!
Each session will cost general admission, $8 for adults and $5 for children. After the program parents and tots are welcome to explore the exhibits at The Fluvarium.

This outdoor program is an excellent opportunity for parents and tots to have fun while learning about rivers, ponds and forests. We emphasize respect for nature and all its “critters” while encouraging gentle hands on discovery.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please dress weather appropriate as the program is held outdoors
