Halloween Howl Family Program at MUN ‘Boo-tanical’ Garden

10:00 am – 3:00 pm, MUN Botanical Garden (St. John’s)
Did you know that many Halloween traditions and superstitions are connected to nature and the fall season, particularly the harvest? Visit MUN ‘Boo-tanical’ Garden for a fun weekend of Halloween arts & crafts, story time, and face painting. Come on a special Halloween nature hike with our education staff and explore the Batty Bat and Halloween Discovery trails. Discover why bats, owls, crows, spiders, and even witches’ brooms are not all that scary once you get to know them. The exhibit area will feature special Halloween displays. A full weekend of family fun for young children and parents alike. Free admission for children in costume, Friends of the Garden and MUN students. Registration is not required. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for young children and their families. For more information, please contact the Garden at 864-8590 or visit http://www.mun.ca/botgarden.
