The Wildlife Division’s Stewardship and Education (Conservation Services) Section is responsible for administering programs for new and existing hunters and trappers. Safe, responsible and legal hunting and trapping are important and practical wildlife management tools used by government agencies to help sustain wildlife populations. Developing and administering programs that foster appropriate awareness and ethical behaviors towards wildlife harvest is essential in meeting key wildlife management objectives and is important to its overall mandate. We invite you to come out and hear about some of the programs and projects we are involved in.
