MMSB has once again partnered with the Division of Lifelong Learnings Kids@Mun program to offer our Enviro Kids program for children ages 5-8 and NEW this year ECO-ISLAND for youth ages 9-12.

Enviro-Kids (ages 5-8)
Morning Session
July 4-8, 2011

Become an Enviro-Kid and join the mission to discover science and help protect our planet! In this fun-filled week, Enviro-Kids will embark on a journey of fun games and activities as they explore the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) AND composting. Campers will enjoy nature hikes, arts and crafts, and discover organic magic with worms under the guidance of our wonderfully wacky waste experts – MMSB!

Eco-Island (ages 9-12)

Eco-Island is a mysterious place that provides us with everything we need to live  food, water, shelter but it also provides us with lots of things we want too. With the help from the elusive people who live on Eco-Island  campers will learn all about the natural environment and how to protect Eco-Island from becoming polluted with our waste. On Eco-Island, everyone must learn to reduce, reuse, recycle, and compost to keep Eco-Island clean and healthy and keep the locals happy!
