The Brother Brennan Environmental Education Centre is looking for an
enthusiastic, energetic and outdoor loving person to help teach the school
environmental programs this fall. Experience working with children, a
knowledge of Newfoundland’s flora, fauna and environmental issues are all
advantages. A current first-aid certificate and RNC certificate of conduct
are essential. The job will include teaching classes of school children,
running campfires, evening hikes, storytelling, supervision and more.
The position will start mid-September and run until the end of November.
There should be 24 or 48 hours of work a week – depending on the school
bookings. It is necessary to stay at the Centre overnight. No week-end
work. Pay is $14 an hour.
