The O’Brien Farm Foundation is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the organization and effectively manage all operations of the Foundation who reports to a volunteer Board of Directors. The Foundation is not-for-profit and its vision is to see the O’Brien Farm forge a central place in the community with a wide range of community partnerships.
Working with the Board, you will be accountable for:
- Strategic leadership in the implementation of the master plan, policies and programming
- Overall facilities and land management
- Achieving the strategic financial and fundraising objectives of the Foundation
- Working collaboratively with the project manager in the restoration of Thimble Cottage
We are looking for someone who has experience in grant writing, fund development, human resources, and facilities and land management. Team-oriented, highly motivated and knowledgeable in community development, financial management, and a demonstrated history of running successful fundraising campaigns are ideal qualifications. We are looking for someone who is a graduate from a post-secondary institution with five plus years of management experience, expertise in social media, website management, and community- building.
