Invitation to Participate
Co-operative Education students from the Environmental Technology program and the Civil Engineering Technology program at the Corner Brook campus of the College of the North Atlantic will be competing for 12- to 16-week spring/summer work terms commencing May, 2014 and ending August, 2014.
The students have a wide range of civil engineering and environmental skills in the technical, academic and personal management areas to bring to co-op employers. Please consider the benefits of hiring a co-op student from the College. Our Civil Engineering Technology program and Environmental Technology Co-op program represents a proven human resource development strategy by incorporating classroom and workplace learning, while providing an opportunity to meet short-term employment needs for the employer.
You can find out more about our Civil Engineering Technology and Environmental Technology Co-op programs and curriculum at www.cna.nl.ca or please contact Joanne Kendrick, the Co-operative Education Coordinator responsible for the co-op placements for these programs. Please ask if you qualify for SECPAP wage subsidy funding for hiring our work term students.
I invite you to participate in the Civil Engineering Technology and Environmental Technology Co-operative Education process through the hiring of one of our students for the upcoming spring/summer semester. I look forward to facilitating your recruitment, and thank you for your support of co-operative education.
I hope to hear from you – Thanks!
