Join CPAWS-NL for a walk along the East Coast Trail near St. John’s to view nesting seabirds. The hike will take place on Thursday July 20 at 2:00pm.

Meet at the Freshwater Bay trail parking lot on Blackhead Road just east of Shea Heights at 1:45. From there we will walk to Peggy’s Leg to view nesting seabirds. Total distance of hike (round trip) will be about 9km and should take 3-4 hours. Difficulty is moderate. Be sure to bring appropriate footwear and sufficient food and water.
