NAACAP is a non-profit organisation that works to protect and enhance the rivers of the Northeast Avalon region. We require an Outreach Assistant to help us with our volunteer and partner activities.

The Outreach Assistant will be involved with promoting/organising NAACAPs volunteer activities. As well, this person will work with other students on a wide range of activities to garner public support for river and water conservation.

The Outreach Assistant is expected to have a working knowledge of rivers, good writing skills, confidence and experience in dealing with the public and a willingness to learn new things. This person must have been a fulltime student within the last academic year.

NAACAP offers a friendly work environment. NAACAP will also give the outreach assistant the opportunity to become involved in our other river activities. This is an opportunity for the right student to take ownership of a project and be crucial to its success .

$12 per hour 35 hour week
